David Berkowitz

In the summer of 1976, the city of New York is about to become gripped with fear as an unknown assailant starts a killing spree that will last for over a year. He will be given the name of the .44 killer. It wasn't until almost a year later that he would leave a letter behind after killing one of his victims. In that letter the police would discover that the .44 killer is indeed the Son of Sam. During his killing spree the Son of Sam killed six people and wounded seven others. The randomness in the way he picked his victims would hold a population of 15 million hostage, make them change the way they looked and dressed, and almost kill disco.
